As Director of Management Consulting for a major computer systems integration firm, he developed and deployed a highly effective framework for business process reengineering leveraging landmark research at the Harvard Business School. A key success factor was the emphasis on quantifying comprehensive impacts of business change.
He also developed and deployed a breakthrough approach to help large organizations successfully select and implement information technology with unprecedented speed, known return on investment, and minimal risk. Rigorous due diloigence, project planning, and quantifying both costs and benefits of business change were key to the success of his approach.
In 1999, he founded Closewaters, a private-label, boutique of highly-experienced management consultants delivering solid performance improvement through exceptionally effective methodologies and rigorous due diligence and planning.
