Advised Owners on necessary actions to conform with Coast Guard and A.B.S. rules. Conducted Underwater Inspection and repair of vessels as Third Party Examiner, in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Special Vessel Inspection Program. Was responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the tail-shaft and bearing replacement conformed to proper engineering standards. Conducted annual inspections of hull and internal structural examinations to ensure that vessels remained in compliance with the Special Vessel Inspection Program. Prepared and submitted the required reports to U.S. Coast Guard, detailing all aspects of the repair and inspection procedure.
