September 1985- October 1986 Animal Medical Center Companion Animal Practice, Practice Manager and Performed all phases of surgery and medicine. January 1984- September 1984 Veterinary Clinic Preceptorship This is a 90 day “internship” if you will, required by the university for graduation. This was a Mixed Animal practice, which involved horses, swine, cattle as well as companion animals. November 1990- present Veterinary Associates Ownership/Senior Partner Sixteen years managing and performing medicine, surgery, endoscopy and all phases of a busy companion animal practice. This is a full service companion animal practice. We have 18 employees and four doctors. When we purchased this practice in 1990 is was grossing $80,000 per year. In 2005 our gross income was $1.46 million/year. Fee Schedule Designation Fee:$525 Retainer:$2,000 Non-Testimonial:$525/hr Testimonial:$725/hr Travel: $525/hr for time-portal to portal, lodging, flights, cars, taxi rates are cost plus 10%. Any flight over four hours must be first class. Mileage is $.35/mile. Miscellaneous: Negotiable
