EW #1046 is a Registered Professional Engineer, State of Colorado, and State of California. He has a Ph.D. in Cryogenic Engineering (1958, University of Colorado). He was president of the National Cryogenic Engineering Association, and is author of the engineering textbooks Cryogenic Process Engineering (Plenum Press)and Cryogenic Engineering (Marcel Dekker). Five years as Staff Consultant Cryogenics to Ball Aerospace, Private practice as consulting engineer in cryogenics since 1983. He is a certified cryogenic safety instructor for the NASA and the US Air Force, and conducts training cryogenic safety and safety with high pressure gas systems to the USAF, NASA and industrial clients. He is an experienced expert witness in cryogenic safety and high pressure gas hazards.
