Director of ICT Department 1998 to 2005 Managed the Information and Communication Department. Responsible for all IT, voice and data communications services for one of the nations largest electric cooperatives.

Chief of the Transmission and Substation Division 1991 to 1998
Managed the Transmission and Substation Division. Initiated innovative designs resulting in substation cost reduction of over $50,000 per station. Supervised and coordinated the work of two registered professional engineers as well as outsourced technical professionals.

Senior Engineer 1989 to 1991 Supervisor of the Transmission and Substation Division. Directed the design and coordinated the construction of all substation and transmission projects. Provided engineering support to the Director of Engineering and the Operations Department. Managed and trained other engineers assigned to the Division.

Engineer 1988 to 1989 Responsible for substation control wiring design including SCADA, load management, metering and protective relay wiring design. Responsible for protective relay philosophy, specification and setting. Gained a detailed knowledge of control circuitry for station equipment including breakers and reclosers.

Associate Engineer 1986 to 1988 Developed and handled substation projects, including the engineering of a microprocessor-based breaker control scheme. This project involved determining a more reliable replacement for an existing electronic breaker control, then designing, testing and implementing the circuitry to interface the microprocessor to the breaker and to SCADA.

Engineer In Training 1984 to 1986 Generated detailed substation construction drawings for foundations, structural arrangement, and control wiring installation. Prepared technical specifications and contracts. Responsible for substation construction inspection. Worked closely with both in-house and contracted construction crews.
