EW 7214 is a retired law enforcement officer who spent nearly 18 years as a homicide and major crimes investigator with the Coconino County Sheriff's Office in Flagstaff, AZ. He was one of the lead investigators in the first DNA Murder case prosecuted in the State of Arizona and has extensive training and experience in all types of death investigations including aircraft accidents and natural disasters.He is a expert in death penalty murder investigations and was a long time member of the Arizona Homicide Investigators Association.
In addition, he is a highly experienced expert in the field of forensic interviewing of child sex-crime victims. He has conducted over 200 child sex crime investigations and has interviewed or directed the interviews of dozens of children as young as 5 years of age.
He served as the case agent in numerous major investigations and has assisted prosecutors in many high profile trials.
For many years he served as an instructor for the Arizona Peace Officers' Standards and Training board in the field of Interview and Interrogation, teaching hundreds of law enforcement officers from across the State of Arizona.
In addition to homicide investigations, he was the leading fraud investigator for Coconino County and was a long time member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
