Worked in both the dialysis and renal transplantation fields for over 30 years. His clinical nephrology experience includes problems in hypertension and electrolyte disturbances. It encompasses consultative evaluation, intensive care management, immunosuppressive care, and treatment of the entire spectrum of acute and chronic renal diseases. Profile A graduate of the University of Michigan and of Wayne State University. His post-doctoral training was at Boston city Hospital, Detroit Receiving Hospital, and Washington University Medical school. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a past Chairman of the Division of Nephrology at both Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and William Beaumont Hospital in royal Oak, Michigan. For many years, he served as a member of the faculty of the Wayne State University School of Medicine and is the author of numerous scientific publications. He is a past president of the Renal Physicians Association of Michigan and of the Michigan ESRD Network. For several years, he served on the Medical Review Board of the ESRD Network, and was Chairman of that Board.
