Captain Verret is an expert in marine operations and safety.  He is active employed as a Ship Master in the Merchant Marine.   His career has spanned over 27 years, including 20 of these years, in the capactity as Captain.

He holds a United States Coast Guard Unlimited Master Mariner’s license for Vessels of Any Gross Tonnage Upon the Oceans.  Earned serving aboard fully tugboats, supply vessels, specialty vessel, lift boats, icebreakers, research vessels, drillships and pipe laying ships. 

He also has extensive DP knowledge as has taken part in Dynamic Positioning FMEA audits, along with conducting for himself, FMEA audits. 
He also has knowledge of Common Marine Inspection Documents (CMID’s).  These are safety inspections affiliated with International Marine Contractors Association.

Currently, Captain Verret is providing consulting services to the maritime industry and the legal profession.
