EW #1195 began her career in international trade in 1974 - 30 years ago, negotiating international letters of credit for full vessels of grain in the Pacific North [[[[ [[[[west]]]] ]]]] . Later, she got involved in the first containerized shipments. She has negotiated international transactions worldwide - import and export. Articles have been written about her in the business section of the Oregonian when she was a consultant for energy related products - worldwide.
In 1987, she became founder and holder of the mission of an international service firm for freight forwarding, Earth Cargo, Inc. This business takes care of it's clients international logistics. This includes negotiation and commitment to steamship line contracts. As an additional service, in 1991, Earth Customs, Inc. was established to handle the U.S. Customs concerns of clients. In the fall of 2001, She successfully merged a competitor freight forwarder operation into Earth Cargo, Inc. EW #1195 has spoken on panels in international trade events. Her ambition is to continue her efforts to creatively design new business offers that take care of government regulations and produce relevant value for her clients and her businesses.
