Owner, Director, Certified Medical Illustrator
Own and manage a full-service medical illustration studio providing high-quality original artwork to the medical, legal, pharmaceutical, advertising, medical instrumentation and publishing communities. Illustrations are executed in black and white or color using a variety of techniques, both traditional and digital. Work closely with Art Directors, Editors, Authors, and Publishers to develop and implement consistent, cost-effective art programs for periodicals, small and large books, medical education materials and promotional, marketing and advertisement collateral publications. Work closely with Lawyers, Paralegals, and Expert Witnesses to develop, budget, and create compelling demonstrative evidence for litigation support.

Director, Certified Medical Illustrator
Managed a satellite office location serving the northeastern region of the United States. In affiliation with VA, this office provided high-quality original artwork to the medical, legal, pharmaceutical, advertising, medical instrumentation and publishing communities. Illustrations, animation's and 3 dimensional models are executed in a variety of techniques, both traditional and digital. Biomedical Communications Facility, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Phila., Pa (February 1983-May 1983)
Assisted the staff illustrator, Ms. Karen Ott, A.M.I., in the creation of anatomical, surgical, biological and veterinary illustrations, charts and graph and poster presentations for the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, U. of P. Hospital of Veterinary Medicine. Created a presentation portfolio of work consisting of 15 finished illustrations demonstrating facility in various media including pen and ink, carbon dust, pencil, watercolor, airbrush, and colored pencil. Autopsies, specimen studies, videotapes and print reference materials were used in the creation of portfolio illustrations.

Worked with the director of the evening division to expand the schools offering of Medical and Scientific illustration courses. Worked to establish an exchange program with LaSalle College to enable students with an interest in medical illustration to take anatomy, physiology and chemistry courses for credit. Coordinated the Illustration department's efforts to establish an exchange program in Natural History Illustration with the Royal College of Art's School of Graphic Arts, London, England. Arranged and fulfilled a medical illustration internship program between University of the Arts and University of Pennsylvania's Department of Biomedical Communications.
