For 15 years, Amy has performed criminal and civil origin and cause investigations of fires and explosions. These investigations have represented owners, tenants, commercial building managers, insurance companies, attorneys, contractors, and others, including multi-party examinations, in claim amounts exceeding 15 million dollars. She has extensive experience in vehicle fires, chimney/flue, firebox/wood stove fires, and equipment and product failures/liability.

Her background of 10 years as co-operating a structural engineering firm, and education in mechanical engineering, has been applied in discerning pre-fire conditions, scene safety, and business operation expertise. She has assisted with and overseen contractor repairs involving, flooding, hail, wind, collapse, rot, insect damage, mold, ADA compliance, truss failure, and foundation repairs. This includes installation of piers, mud-jacking, structural I-beams, aerial-topography/weather data compilation, and vehicle/other impact. She also has extensive expertise in proofing engineering reports/preparation for deposition, and drafting.

Amy has previous work experience as a Firefighter and EMT, and as a Hazardous Materials Technician for McDonnell Douglas (Bowing) during builds for aircraft at a Military Facility in Columbus, Ohio.

Amy conducts investigations with an ethical, legal, and cost-conscious approach. She enjoys conducting entertaining presentations/trainings, to her wide variety of liaisons, public and private, and has served as Region III Board Director for the Nevada IAAI since 2010. She has a vast client basis, maintains her P.I. licensure independently, and ensures OSHA compliance to perform job functions.

The primary service areas are the states of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming; however, Amy is available to travel anywhere in the U.S.
