Qualifications include B.A. from the University of NC at Chapel Hill, post-graduate certificate in prosthetics and orthotics from UCLA, Board Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics, elected Fellow of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), selected as the first Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP). Past-President of the AAOP, currently Immediate Past-President of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), formerly a member of the executive board of directors of ISPO, former editor of the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Has presented over 100 clinical and technical papers nationally and internationally, and published over 25 professional journal and editorial articles. Specialties include expert witness support for amputation and personal injury cases, prosthetic and/or orthotic product liability cases, lifetime cost estimates, and utilization review.
