He provides 35 years experience in claims administration at an executive level working with insurers, employers, attorneys, third-party administrators, and managing general agencies. As the author of the publication, Florida Workers' Compensation Handbook, he is widely regarded as an expert in the field. Additionally, he is a contributing author of the New York Workers' Compensation Handbook, and serves as editor of the Lexis-Nexis product HotDocs, which provides automated Florida Workers' Compensation forms for insurance carriers and law firms, both of which are also published by the Matthew Bender/Lexis-Nexis Publishing Company. He is Board Certified in workers' compensation claims and was appointed by Governor Bob Martinez to serve as a member of the Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims from 1990 to 1994. He served as president and member of the statewide advisory committee to the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation.

He is certified as an instructor in workers' compensation claims by the Florida Department of Insurance and frequently serves as a speaker and lecturer on workers' compensation issues for both the insurance industry and members of the Florida Bar.
