Received board certification in Diagnostic Radiology in June 1984 after completing the residency program at UCLA Hospital and Clinics. He completed one of the first Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) fellowships in 1985 and has been in private practice since. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the UCLA School of Medicine, he has medical student and resident teaching responsibilities.
