Major initiatives/accomplishments:
Increased efficiencies of department as MedCath opened 6 hospitals from March 2001 to March 2004 and grew from 150M in revenue to 590M while Tech Services only added 5 FTEs.
Increased service levels provided by Technical Services by over 60% during the first year of engagement.
Managed departmental budgets and reduced operating expenses on an average of 38% year over year and reduced capex by 22%.
Chief Architect for network infrastructure, LAN/WAN and Telephony services for all new facilities including managing RFP processes.
Replaced entire WAN infrastructure increasing service capacity to each facility eight fold, added redundant paths to each facility and reduced average monthly telecomm expenses by 12%.
Provide on-going system administration services for HIS systems including McKesson HBOC Star and Quadramed Affinity systems and Cloverleaf interfaces.
Designed new data center & managed the consolidation of 3 smaller data centers into the newly built one.
Deployed enterprise wide web access monitoring and site blocking system as well as enterprise wide help desk management system.
