EW #811 is a Professor of Management and Professor of Business Administration. Over 30 years of teaching and consulting experience. Over 40 cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. Testified in federal and state courts. Many publications and professional papers. Senior author of two widely used textbooks on human resources management and organizations. EW #811 is a winner of the 1991 President's Continuing Education Award at a Florida University. He conducts seminars and workshops throughout the United States on a variety of management topics for managers in business, government and not-for-profit organizations. Among his clients are Rayonier, Motorola, State Farm Insurance, U.S. Department of Energy, Berg Pipe Corporation, various State of Florida agencies, and numerous not-for-profit organizations. He speaks on Strategic Planning and Management, Strategic Decision Making, Managing Diversity and other management topics. He  has published twenty books and book revisions. His book is widely used at colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada.  He has also published over 80 articles and papers in a variety of journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Journal, Human Relations, The Academy of Management Executive, and Long Range Planning. His articles have dealt with envisionary management, managing stress, strategic planning, management decision making, politics, and a variety of other management topics.

He is an active member in both the Southern Management Association and the Academy of Management as a paper reviewer and session chair at national meetings. He also regularly presents at their annual meetings. Other professional associations include Society of Human Resource Management and Beta Gamma Sigma.

EW #811  received his Ph.D. in Management and MBA from Ohio State University and his BBA in Business from Ohio University. Prior to his current position, he served as Chairman of the Management Department for eleven years, and was an Assistant Dean with the College of Business at Florida State University.
