Sworn in as an Expert Witness in Forensic Computer Investigations and Data Retrieval in Federal, State, and Military Courts
I currently use and have used EnCase versions 1, 2, 2Pro, 3 and 4, AccessData Forensic Tool Kit, AccessData Password Recovery Tool Kit, QuickviewPlus, ACDSee Systems Software, Logicube CloneNow, FastBloc FE and IDE, S-Tools, as well as other tools and utilities.
EnCase 4.20 is the most current version and the foremost software that I use in majority of cases and data recovery.
I still use EnCase 3.x with an older FastBloc that has worked better on some hard-drive translations.
By using EnCase I have been able to bring up correspondence as old as five years from mail servers that had cached out the fragments into pagefiles and unallocated clusters and slack space.
I keep a stock of circuit boards from hard drives in case of that type of failure and have been able to replace the board and recover the data.
I have combined EnCase reporting into AccessData FTK reporting.
I conduct interviews
I prepare PowerPoint presentations for trials, training and speaking engagements.
I have performed deposition consulting.
