1989-Present: Police Officer for the Arcadia Police Department, City of Arcadia, California. Eight years of patrol experience investigating an average of 100 traffic collisions per year totaling 800 collisions. Nine years as a Traffic Investigator (Detective) responsible for reviewing, analyzing, investigating, or reconstructing approximately 1000 collisions per year totaling 9000 collisions. I have personally reconstructed over sixty major traffic accidents of which 26 had fatalities. I am the lead investigator of the Arcadia Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).

COMPUTER SKILLS

CAD (Computer Aided Drafting): I am a trained specialist capable of computer drawn factual diagrams and forensic mapping. I am also a trained reconstructionist using "ARPRO RECONSTRUCTION" software for calculating times, distances, speeds, and other pertinent information required to reconstruct collisions. I have been diagramming collision scenes since 1989. I have been reconstructing collision scenes with computer software since 1996. I am certificated as a forensic mapper .

1992: I attended a Traffic Accident Investigation school which covered the following material: Collision scene documentation including measurements, photos, videos, and report writing. Techniques for measuring and gathering evidence.

1996: I attended a Speed From Skids and Skidmark Analysis school covering the following topics: Identification and classification of skidmarks including acceleration, deceleration, critical speed scuff, centrifugal skid, and wheel assignment. Determining roadway surface coefficients of friction. Mathematics formulas to determine speed from skids and braking efficiency.

1997: I attended the Advanced Traffic Accident Investigation school covering the following topics: Vehicle lamp analysis.
