EW #10834brings 25 years of national and international experience in geology, geophysics, hydrogeology, the design and implementation of field exploration programs and support of regulatory, legal and public processes. His experience includes work on environmental projects (both hazardous and nuclear waste), forensic analyses of soil and foundation failures, studies of groundwater contamination, and site investigations for major engineering projects such as dams and reservoirs and power plants. Since 1994 he has been a Principal of Applied Geosciences Incorporated providing specialty consulting services to both public and private clients.

Hisexperience also includes pre-litigation investigations and providing expert testimony to address a wide variety of geologic and hydrologic issues, including:

* reservoir leakage and siltation

Heholds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Amherst College and a Master's degree in Geology/Geophysics from Wesleyan University. He is a Registered Professional Geologist in the states of North Carolina and Virginia and is widely published in both peer review journals and the popular press.
