Provides case review and analysis, expert witness testimony, training in prevention and investigation of discrimination and harassment. In addition, She serves as a consultant/expert witness about police policies and procedures and is nationally known as an advocate for police reform.
My work includes:
œ Review the case including the complaint, any investigation that has been conducted, available deposition testimony and other documents such as discrimination/harassment policies, training provided and actions taken.
œ Provide an assessment of the case - where I believe the strong and weak points are for both sides.
œ Make recommendations on actions that should be taken such as further investigation that needs to be conducted.
œ Assist in developing deposition questions or preparing your witnesses for deposition.
œ Assist in mediation efforts.
œ Help locate and interview expert witnesses.
œ Assist in gathering available research.
