1998 - Present: Forensic Traffic Accident Reconstruction Consultant. 1976- 1997: Claremont Police Department, Los Angeles County, California Positions and Responsibilities: 1997: Honorably Retired 1994-1997: Detective Agent. Investigated all frauds, thefts, traffic related crimes and functioned as the department's traffic accident reconstructionist, reconstructing and reviewing all serious or fatal injury collisions 1993-1994: Patrol Agent and Field Training Officer 1990-1993: Traffic Enforcement Agent and Traffic Accident Reconstruction. Duties included traffic enforcement assigned to a police motorcycle, reviewing traffic collision reports, reconstructing serious and/or fatal traffic collisions 1987-1990: Detective Agent. Duties included investigating child abuse and all crimes against persons, i.e., rape, robbery & other assaults 1983-1987: Traffic Enforcement Agent. Duties included traffic enforcement assigned to a police motorcycle, and the investigation of all traffic collisions that occur on duty 1976-1983: Patrol Officer: duties included normal citizen safety, service & peace keeping responsibilities; enforcement of various city, county, state and federal codes and laws and basic traffic investigation responsibilities. Relevant Experience: Investigated over 1,300 traffic collisions Reconstructed over 50 serious or fatal collisions Investigated and filed o~er lOO misdemeanor and felony cases with the district attorney's office. Testified as an expert in both Los Angeles County Municipal and Superior Courts. Assisted the district attorney as the investigating officer in several manslaughter cases. Trained Officers in the use of radar equipment and in vehicle speed determination. This included testing and recording the outcome to establish their expertise in court.
