Chemsultants is a full-service research and development laboratory capable of testing and formulating a broad range of label, tag, and adhesive products for conformance to the standards of TLMI, ASTM, PSTC, AFERA, and FINAT. The group of Chemsultants scientists specializes in the benchmarking and developing of PSAs and heat seal adhesives and coatings, specialty inks and sealants, as well as thermoplastic and thermoset coatings and films. The laboratory is A2LA certified.
ChemDevelopment
ChemDevelopment is a state-of-the-art facility offering complete pilot coating, laminating, converting and slitting services. Our capabilities include application of PSA and heat seal adhesives, release coatings and specialty polymer systems to a wide variety of substrates. We are capable of mixing 5 to 250 gallon batches, coating webs, using one of eight coating methods and drying via thermal or UV processes, using 3 coating lines ranging from 12 to 40 wide.
ChemInstruments
ChemInstruments designs, manufactures and sells a full line of testing equipment for the adhesive, sealant, ink and converting industries. Our line of instruments has been developed to test TLMI, ASTM, PSTC, AFERA and FINAT standards in the areas of tack, shear, release, adhesion, peel and tensile. In addition, we offer a line of lab coating and laminating equipment, as well as sampling and supply items, sold and serviced through our 14 representatives worldwide.
Chemsultants International Network Services
In addition to the broad range of services that Chemsultants has come to be known for, we also offer through the Chemsultants International Network, a variety of additional services including: educational seminars tailored to your companys specific needs, expert witness testimony, business planning, market studies, and assistance in the planning and construction of both laboratory and production facilities. Our seminar center is 7,000 square feet with a laboratory and lecture space for classes up to 60 students.
