The company had substantial overseas sales. The business was acquired by a larger corporation in 1983 and transferred out of state.

Chief operating officer of the world's largest international motion picture company, with subsidiaries in 40 countries, and over 2,000 employees around the world. CIC was jointly owned by Gulf + Western Industries, M-G-M, United Artists, and MCA. It distributed all Paramount, Universal, M-G-M, and UA films worldwide, outside the U.S.A. and Canada. CIC produces motion pictures in 5 countries, and owned cinema houses in 11 countries. CIC (since re-named UIP) has television, recording, and music publishing subsidiaries.

Concurrently, Chairman of International Paper Company (Europe) Ltd. with responsibility for all I-P operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I-P companies in that region owned 3 paper mills, 26 container plants, and 6 sales offices, with over 4,000 employees. These included wholly-owned and joint venture companies and independent distributors.

In charge of all Ford Tractor Division operations in Europe and the Middle East, which included subsidiaries in 12 countries, and distributors throughout the region. The division manufactured and marketed farm and industrial tractors, light and heavy construction equipment, agricultural implements, industrial engines, and service parts and accessories. Specialized tractors and equipment for European needs were designed and manufactured locally.
