Professor Shabnam Sodagari is a faculty member at the electrical and computer engineering department at Virginia Tech, where she contributes to both research and teaching graduate level courses in telecommunications, such as coding theory. Her research is being funded by institutions such as Office of Naval Research (ONR) and Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). She is also a senior member of the IEEE and has more than 12 years of experience in the field of wireless.
