Ukrainians would be better off in the New York (NY) area. Why?
1) NY has the most prominent (largest) Ukrainian population
2) NY is the largest sanctuary city
3) NY borders Canada
4) NY is also far more liberal than conservative

I am told from other people and the Internet web that:
It might be easier for Ukrainians to go to Canada.
Canada tends to be more compassionate.
Going from Canada to the USA is much easier than from Mexico.

Ukrainians should not contact the authorities of the United States or attempt to apply for visas in order to travel to the United States as refugees–such travel is not possible.
They should contact the authorities of Poland.
If they are here in the US they can get TPS.
